Realm Of Experience 2
The Room "Egyptian Memory" with complete furniture
The wall in the long shot... in daylight
The same wall, this time at night.
Realm Of Experience 2 - Egyptian Memory
Example of a form of synthesis between art and function
Dimensions: 4.5 m x 2.5 m = 11.25 sqm
Idea and concept: Wolfgang Schmarander and his client, near Bremen
Implementation of the entire project: Wolfgang Schmarander
Electronics: water pumps, lighting, hi-fi system and TV stand: can be switched on by remote control
Painting: acrylic-based pigments on textured wallpaper
Painting technique: applied with a brush
The execution of this order reflects the wishes of the client: to create an individual room, to enrich the room artistically and to remove unsuitable living space components such as hi-fi system, TV and other utensils from view. Painting: "Egypt" theme in connection with the otherwise baroque living style. The client contributed her own decorative items such as mirrors, built-in shelves, cherubs, etc.
Here some more Details:
The built-in display case. Behind the columns I hid a cupboard about 2m high
The double doors open with a remote control and the platform with the television moves towards you.
The waterfall. The water collects in the basin and is pumped upwards from there
The lovers. One detail of the wall in the lower area of the work
Hidden behind the illustration are hi-fi systems; drawers for CDs, video cassettes, record player and more
And on the left, a little hidden - the cheetah mother and her son are watching the action.
